1. About saii
saii helps adults exchange languages and cultures through profiles, community stories, conversations, local events, and introductions for in-person activities. These Terms apply to saii's web and mobile services.
Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for creating an account and using saii, a cultural-exchange service operated by Nomadiq. By accepting them, you agree to follow these rules while you use the service.
saii helps adults exchange languages and cultures through profiles, community stories, conversations, local events, and introductions for in-person activities. These Terms apply to saii's web and mobile services.
You must be at least 18 years old. Give accurate account information, use only sign-in accounts you are authorized to use, and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly tell us it was compromised.
Follow the Community Guidelines and applicable law. Do not harass, sexually pressure, threaten, impersonate, defraud, recruit commercially, exploit, or endanger another person. Do not interfere with the service, evade safety controls, collect member data without permission, or use saii for unlawful activity.
You keep ownership of profiles, photos, posts, comments, messages, event content, and other material you submit. You give Nomadiq a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, translate, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, deliver, and protect the functions described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it. The license ends when the content or account is deleted, except for temporary backups and copies retained for safety or legal obligations.
Automatic translations, corrections, suggestions, and other language-help outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular context. Review important information yourself and do not rely on these outputs for legal, medical, financial, or emergency decisions.
Members can report profiles, posts, comments, and messages and can block other members. To enforce these Terms, the Community Guidelines, safety requirements, or applicable law, saii may investigate reports and restrict, remove, preserve, suspend, or permanently ban accounts or content. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to contact us about a decision; urgent safety or legal risk may require immediate action. Urgent danger should be reported to local emergency services.
Members decide whether and how to meet. saii does not supervise private meetings or guarantee another member's identity, statements, conduct, or safety. Meet in public, tell someone your plan, keep travel and payment independent, and leave if a situation feels unsafe.
Social sign-in, maps, app stores, notifications, identity checks, email delivery, calling, and payment features may be provided by third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the parts they operate. saii is not responsible for an independent third-party service outside Nomadiq's control, but this does not limit rights that applicable law gives you against Nomadiq.
Some features may be offered for a fee. If paid features become available, the price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refund information shown before purchase will also apply. Store or payment-provider terms may apply to transactions they process.
Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued as saii improves safety, reliability, and the member experience. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free. We will provide notice when a material change requires it.
You may request account deletion through Settings & Privacy or the public account-deletion page. saii may restrict, suspend, or close an account that violates these Terms, creates safety or legal risk, or interferes with the service. Data deletion and limited retention are described in the Privacy Policy and account-deletion notice.
Each party is responsible for loss caused by its intentional or negligent acts as provided by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Nomadiq's responsibility where doing so is prohibited, or removes mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, Nomadiq is not responsible for loss caused solely by another member, an independent third party, or events outside its reasonable control.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. If it cannot be resolved, disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable Korean civil-procedure law; these Terms do not create an exclusive venue that overrides mandatory law.
The Privacy Policy explains how saii processes personal data. We will normally give at least 7 days' notice of Terms changes and at least 30 days for changes that materially disadvantage members, unless urgent legal or safety needs require otherwise. We will identify the new version and important changes and request renewed acceptance where appropriate. If you disagree, you may stop using saii and delete your account before the change takes effect. Questions can be sent to privacy@saii.kr.
This document is the product-facing Terms implementation for launch. Final Korean governing-law, dispute-resolution, business-disclosure, and statutory wording remain pending Korean counsel review before public launch.
