1. Purpose
These terms govern the location-based services Saii provides — the Nearby map, distance labels, and neighbourhood-based recommendations — and the rights you keep while using them.

How Saii uses your neighbourhood.
These terms explain how Saii, operated by Nomadiq, collects and uses your location for features like the Nearby map. Turning on your location in Saii means you agree to these terms.

2. What is collected and how
With your device permission, Saii reads your device position and immediately rounds it to a neighbourhood-sized grid cell of roughly one kilometre before anything is stored. Saii keeps that approximate cell and the time it was shared — never your exact position.
3. What other members see
While location sharing is on, members allowed by your audience setting (everyone, or accepted friends only) see your neighbourhood-level area and a rounded distance. Your last shared neighbourhood stays visible until you turn sharing off.
4. Retention
Your approximate location is kept while sharing is on and deleted immediately when you turn sharing off or delete your account. Records confirming collection, use, and provision are kept for six months as required by the Location Information Act, then destroyed.
5. Turning it off and your rights
You can stop appearing to others at any time from the audience control on the Nearby map or in Settings → Privacy, and stop collection entirely by revoking the location permission on your device. You may also request access to or deletion of your location records at privacy@saii.kr.
6. Age
Saii is only for members aged 18 or older, so the Location Information Act's guardian-consent provisions for children aged 8 or under do not apply to the service.
7. Operator and location information manager
Nomadiq provides these location-based services and has designated a location information manager responsible for protecting location data. Contact: privacy@saii.kr.
8. Changes to these terms
We will announce changes in the app at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days ahead for changes that materially affect your rights. Continuing to use location features after the effective date means you accept the new version.
