About this event
The "2026 Chungcheongnam-do Drone Festa" is a comprehensive drone event that showcases a national drone competition, a drone conference, a drone light show, and exhibition and hands-on experience programs all in one place. The national drone competition is a nationwide contest that tests drone piloting skills and mission execution capabilities through events such as the precision piloting mission challenge and the search mission challenge, offering a stage where all citizens can participate as competitors.
The drone conference is a venue for exchange and collaboration where experts from industry, academia, research institutes, and government participate to share and discuss the development direction of the drone industry and regional drone utilization plans. The drone light show is a large-scale performance using more than 1,200 drones, and is the event's signature program that expresses Chungcheongnam-do's provincial vision and key policy messages through dynamic content.
In addition, the drone exhibition and hands-on experience event introduces various drone aircraft and the latest technologies, and operates piloting experiences and participatory programs, providing visitors with the opportunity to directly experience drones and become more familiar with the future drone industry.
