Daegu Maker Festa

Daegu Maker Festa is a maker-culture festival in Daegu that connects citizens' imagination and ideas to real creative activity. Run under the slogan 'Beyond Imagination! MAKE IT Together!', the event is composed of exhibitions and hands-on programs across making, science, technology, art, and entrepreneurship. Elementary, middle, and high school students and general citizens take part, along with schools, makerspaces, companies, and institutions. The venue operates experience booths and exhibition programs for each field as well as citizen-participation stage programs, letting participants try a wide variety of making activities and technologies firsthand. With educational institutions, companies, and maker-related organizations joining to introduce their own programs and creative content, it is a citizen-powered maker festival.
