Jeonju National Heritage Night Walk

A nighttime national heritage festival unfolding beneath beautiful evening scenery, the Jeonju National Heritage Night Walk takes place from Friday, October 2 to Saturday, October 3, 2026 under the slogan 'Jeonju, a Thousand-Year Capital: A Night Stroll Through History.' The event will be held in and around the historic and cultural spaces that represent Jeonju, including the Hanok Village, Gyeonggijeon Shrine, the Jeolla Gamyeong provincial office, and Pungnammun Gate. This night walk illuminates the history of Jeonju, the ancestral home of the Joseon dynasty and the royal capital of Later Baekje, with 'sulsa' masters in eight fields presenting a rich program of performances, hands-on experiences, exhibitions, and tours. Through experiential content that brings historic spaces and the stories of Jeonju together, visitors can encounter the city's history and the value of its national heritage more vividly than ever.
