Yeonsu Neunghaedae Cultural Festival

「The 2026 14th Yeonsu Neunghaedae Cultural Festival」 is a grand festival of togetherness that carries forward the history of Neunghaedae — the port from which envoys of ancient Baekje set sail with a spirit of challenge and enterprise — and shares that spirit with the people of Yeonsu-gu today. Alongside the signature 'Baekje Envoy Parade', a wide range of programs invite residents to join in, and rich companion events — the Residents' Day commemorative award ceremony, celebration performances by popular artists, and a fireworks display — along with experience booths deliver delights unique to the Neunghaedae festival. This year in particular, the largest drone light show in the festival's history unfolds as some 2,000 drones embroider the night sky. Under the theme 'Neunghaedae, a Voyage of Light', the show reinterprets through cutting-edge media technology both the history of maritime exchange carried on through ancient Neunghaedae and the meaning of a global voyage heading out toward the world, presenting a dazzling spectacle of light.
