Sinchon Global University Culture Festival

The Sinchon Global University Culture Festival is Seodaemun-gu's flagship festival, created to build the global city brand of Sinchon, a city of youth, and to express Sinchon's twin identities of 'global' and 'university culture' as a festival. Here youth meets the cultures of the world, and global waves of every kind come together in a rich program of cultural and hands-on experiences with a special vibe found only in Sinchon. During the festival, Yonsei-ro in Sinchon fills with global culture experience booths where visitors can meet cultures from around the world, world food booths serving distinctive dishes from many countries, and university culture booths run directly by the students themselves, alongside a wide range of programs planned and staged by university students. On the main stage, student performances, participatory programs, global cultural showcases, and a variety of youth content run throughout the festival, offering citizens and young visitors from Korea and abroad a time to celebrate and connect together.
