Seoul Light DDP Autumn

Seoul Light DDP 2026 Autumn, the world's largest free-form media art festival, will light up downtown Seoul for eleven days from September 3 to 13 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). Under the theme of 'DAYBREAKER', it presents the spirit of innovation and challenge that breaks through darkness and opens new light across three festivals covering autumn, winter, and the countdown. Opening the series, Seoul Light DDP 2026 Autumn illuminates 'K-Original Light', the primordial light that has shaped today's Korean culture. This edition unveils the festival's first new stage, built on the philosophy of Nam June Paik through live performance and real-time responsive media art. Media art reinterpreting the works of Yoo Youngkuk and Hangul in a contemporary way, and performances combining light, sound, and laser, come together to create another beginning that will define how Seoul Light DDP is remembered.
