Seoul Design Week is a design festival that showcases the refined taste of Seoul as a global design city.
Marking its thirteenth edition this year, Seoul Design Week presents a rich program of design content for 12 days from October 14 to 25 under the theme 'The Design Recipe'.
Conceived as 'a market brimming with taste', the DDP Design Fair is a space where visitors complete the brands discovered in Seoul in their own taste. The space is organized around 'taste' rather than consumption categories, creating a stage where brands and emerging designers come together.
The exhibitions spread out from DDP to key spots across Seoul such as Seongsu and Hongdae. From the works of 100 designers active in Seoul today, to exhibitions of overseas studios' design processes, to a merchandise pop-up filled with 'Seoul, the Next', the city will be filled with colorful inspiration in a showcase spanning the wide spectrum of the design industry. Alongside these, the festival will strengthen the global competitiveness and distinctiveness of Seoul design and present a variety of side programs, including exhibitions and markets, for a better life for Seoul's citizens.
