Gumi Food Festival

A Gumi food festival that began in October 2022 to comfort the citizens and small merchants who had struggled through the long tunnel of 'COVID-19' behind their masks, and to breathe life back into the local economy. Feeling the pleasant autumn breeze, crowds gathered at Songjeong Flavor Street (the Gwangpyeong parking lot in Songjeong-dong) in central Gumi, where families, couples and friends shared delicious food and enjoyed fun performances, blooming with laughter in a space brimming with excitement and romance. With the largest lineup of its kind — around 200 dishes to suit every palate — and varied content for children to enjoy, it is one of Gumi's flagship festivals, open to every age group.
