Suseongmot Festival

The Suseongmot Festival brings art experiences to citizens against the backdrop of Suseongmot, the destination Daegu citizens love most. It ranked first for two consecutive years, in 2019 and 2020, in the 'Daegu Metropolitan City Excellent Local Festival Evaluation,' and is one of the signature projects expressing the identity of the Suseong Culture Foundation. This year's lineup ranges from 'K-Art Fantasy,' filled with Korean orchestral music and the essence of song, dance and music, to an on-the-water concert, the on-the-water ball 'Wave,' and street theater performances among the officially invited shows, plus the Suseong Happiness Concert, a large-scale choral performance joined by citizens and artists. Visitors can also watch the National Youth Dance Competition, a music gathering of Suseong-gu elementary and middle schools, and an intangible heritage showcase, and take part in hands-on programs such as the outdoor sketching contest and the Deulan-gil K-Food Festival. Music firework shows open and close the festival.
