The 2026 Incheon Grand Reading Festival is Incheon's flagship book-culture festival, warmly connecting hearts through books. Under the slogan 'Read Incheon, Connect Hearts,' it runs for two days from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Incheon Art Platform. On the main stage at the outdoor plaza, an exciting opening ceremony is followed by picture-book performances that awaken the senses and heartfelt busking, adding vitality to the festival. Around the outdoor plaza, local bookstores and publishers join a book market introducing hidden-gem books, alongside a sentimental photo zone and the delightfully immersive 'BOOK Escape' among many attractions. Indoors, meetings with authors, book chats and talks by local writers open into in-depth reading discussions and forums. Finally, the exhibition hall presents a special exhibition together with experience programs prepared by libraries and related organizations, offering visiting citizens deep cultural resonance and lasting memories.
