The 31st Hongseong Namdang Harbor Shrimp Festival is Hongseong's flagship autumn food festival, where the clean waters of Cheonsu Bay meet fresh, in-season shrimp. Held at Namdang Harbor, a leading culinary destination on the west coast, the festival serves plump, peak-season shrimp alongside the harbor's beautiful seascapes, varied performances and attractions. The 2026 festival runs from September 4 to November 8 around Namdang Harbor, with opening performances from September 4 to 6 and Chuseok holiday performances from September 25 to 26. Bin Ye-seo, Park Hyun-bin, Jang Do-hyun, Yoo Do-hyun, Kim Jung-ah, Kim Seo-yeon and other artists join the opening and Chuseok shows to lift the festive mood. Beyond shrimp, Namdang Harbor is a top Cheonsu Bay destination abundant in gizzard shad and other seafood, so during the festival visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and local delicacies while taking in the beautiful sunsets of the West Sea. It is Hongseong's flagship autumn festival, where families, couples and friends can enjoy food, performances and seascapes all in one place.
