Muchangpo Mysterious Sea Road Festival

Boryeong's representative marine festival, set against a sea road roughly 1.5 km long that parts with the tide, featuring the 'sea road torch experience' and a chance to feel the mystery of the ocean while walking the tidal flats. Along with walking the mudflats at the moment the sea parts, varied cultural programs are on offer. By day, visitors join madanggeuk (open-air theater) performances and hands-on family activities such as bare-handed fish catching. At night, spectacular shows give way to the festival's highlight, the 'Sea Road LED Torch Experience,' lighting up the night sea in a dazzling spectacle.
