About this event
The 2026 Jung-gu Book Festival opens its second chapter, building on the diverse reading cultures and communities discovered across Jung-gu during the 2025 festival to connect them with one another and expand relationships throughout the city. Chapter 2, 'Connecting with One Another,' reads Jung-gu like a single book layered with stories gathered over time, following the hours stacked up in its alleyways, the memories left in the old downtown, the lives of its people, and the feelings the district holds, to rediscover and connect the stories that already live within Jung-gu.
The festival creates a space where books become the medium connecting person to person, place to memory, and the city to its reading culture, offering a time to share the depth of Jung-gu's stories and the possibilities of its reading culture together.
